This class teaches the basic skills used in street and highway asphalt construction. Classroom and hands-on training combine to provide an understanding in raking, shoveling, paving, estimating, and troubleshooting the placement of asphalt materials. Students will also receive experience in placing asphalt by hand and use of a latent box.
